A slow morning, still mixing it up with the Yoga and Qigong. Got to the pool earlyier and got about 45 minutes of a swim. I think I got a good workout this morning.
After that the work lunch, conveniently close. But good BBQ. Can’t say no to a free lunch 🤪. Downside I was still recovering from my workout and dip in the hot tub.
Did a bit of shopping but mostly needed to be lazy much of the day.
Mixed up my Qigong and Yoga, slowling finding my way with these. followed by my usual class at noon. Different instructor. I’m usually wary of that now. They tend to operate on some kind of timed workout instruction. I don’t really enjoy that method, something about the rhythm. Lots of rest periods, not a ton of good flow. But I worked with it, and it was just fine. After I hopped into the pool to do some additional laps, swam for about a half an hour and then popped into the hot tub.
No Qigong or Yoga, needed a bit of a rest. Sleeping not as well of late but might try making adjustments to my sleep machine. A semi-busy day at work. I’m still wondering if this is a change in the seasons. We’ll see. Have an idea for a work-coding project, might be fun, but want it to be a bit more of a universally portable script for booklist creation.

Today kinda went quickly. Another different yoga video. Litte easier. I’m catching on to the Qigong, maybe another week or so and I’ll look for another or incorporate a Tai Chi move. Qigong incorporates several massage elements. But in a lot of ways feels similar to the Yoga stretching. Focus on breathing and contemplation.
Saturday usually feels dead at work, but a little project or two make time pass pretty quickly.
I started the morning with yoga and Qigong. I tried a different yoga in bed video. It wasn’t so bad. I’ll have to try it again but I might keep looking, see if anything fits better. After work I managed to get to the pool. I didn’t swim as long as I would have liked to but I got a good workout. I can feel tiredness in my arms. Working on my flexibility, I think still need to work on my stretches.
More Yoga stretching and Qigong this morning, eventually with a walk at the park. But too late going to get a swim in. 🤷♂️
I’m hearing critters in the house, I guess I’ll need to reset some traps. In the cold season it’s kinda how it goes. I’m going to get some stuff inside too. Try and start planning for winter.
Work was alright just medium weird or so. I do think we’d merit an workplace sitcom, like Abbott Elementary or Parks and Recreation.
Another day back at work. I started the day again with a little bit of yoga which was mostly stretching and a Qigong video. Both the same as yesterday. I hope I can get used to this. It’s been pretty good so far and it loosened me up nicely. A slow start to the day, but I did get to my class at the pool. Unfortunately I stayed at the shallow end in class and that lent some greater obstacles to working out but I and improvised accordingly.
Last day before I’m back to work. I am not sure I’ll be able to keep this up during my work week, but we’ll see. I’m starting this earlier in my day, so I’ll note something. I just gave some Yoga and Qigong videos a try. I’m familiar with Tai Chi Qigong, or Shi Ba Shi, and I did do a form of Tai Chi for a while. I’ve always loved it’s focus on breathing and I did find it helped with my sense of balance and understanding the mechanics of my body.
