Penultimate
Last day before I’m back to work. I am not sure I’ll be able to keep this up during my work week, but we’ll see. I’m starting this earlier in my day, so I’ll note something. I just gave some Yoga and Qigong videos a try. I’m familiar with Tai Chi Qigong, or Shi Ba Shi, and I did do a form of Tai Chi for a while. I’ve always loved it’s focus on breathing and I did find it helped with my sense of balance and understanding the mechanics of my body. With the class I take at the pool it’s reminded me that I enjoyed that particular aspect of exercise. I’ve wanted to try Yoga for some time but have never taken a class. I suppose I’ll just YouTube it ’til I feel comfortable. I’d like to do it most days if I can, a little bit of Yoga and Tai Chi/Qigong. The element of Tai Chi I’ve loved is that as a martial art it feels more like a dance. We’ll See how that goes.
It’s autumn so I’ve got to take the opportunity to do some pruning. I have some giant Japanese Maples and laurels around my house. I got a number of branches before my pole saw chain became loose. More later but one step at a time.
Had a nice swim too, not too strenuous but just enough
Nice to see my aunt and cousin again for dinner.
